Gloom and Haze

15 October 2014

Home situation on gloomy days.

Although the weather was starting to warm up, making me want to rip my skin and crawl out of my body, strong winds and thunderstorms have been taking over Sydney these few days. Last night reached the peak and my parents were caught right in it in the most vulnerable state possible. They drove my car out to visit a friend and on their way back, the rain and thunder had gotten so bad that they couldn’t see anything in front of them. The traffic jam in the tunnel had gotten so bad all of the car sensors kept beeping because the cars were so close to each other. Meanwhile, I was home alone buzzing along to the pulses of thunder and lightning, using that as a disguise for my loud music. Despite the weather seeming awfully gloomy, this is the kind of days I anticipate. I yearn for blue vibes and heavy rain. I need cold air to feel satisfied. I want to see my breaths turn into thin smoke when I speak. I love winter and I miss it already.

    • I’m quite opposite of you! ^.^; Though I really like Fall and Winter because of cozy and warm clothing, I really love Summer because it does a lot to my spirits I guess. I also feel like Summer allows for different types of activities that I enjoy more than during Fall and Winter months. Lovely pictures as always Jeffrey, hope you can enjoy your favorite colder weather a bit longer. ^_^
