Coffee and chatter in rustic cafés.

We drive to a café and sit down in a chaotic yet exciting environment. Chatter and laughter fill the air as we wait for our orders to arrive. I listen to the clinging of cutlery and loud conversations echoing and bouncing off the dark coloured walls. I admire objects placed on shelves and the telephone box fridge. The food and coffee arrive. We chat away on random topics, weaving some gossip in. The flowers sit nicely on the table and light seeps gently through the open windows.

  • This place looks incredible! What was it called?

  • your writing. so beautiful. this place sounds so familiar, though i know i’ve never been there. i think that’s the wonderful thing about your photographs and words especially. you take something that so many of us see and experience every day and turn it into a priceless work of art.

  • Beautiful shots, as usual Jeffrey, you never cease to stun me with your photography and beautiful and lyrical words. I love cafes for their atmospheres. I always find I can think and relax easier in those environments, or even do homework and things of that nature, even with chatter and loud background noise. There’s just something so welcoming and warm about a cafe. ^.^ <3
